Instructors
Most beginners need two or three one-hour lessons to ride down an easy slope on their own, turn and control their speed.
Skiing
We teach step by step, from snowplough and stem turns to parallel and carved turns. The most common habits of self-taught skiers are leaning back, a wide stance and turning with the upper body instead of the legs. They're easier to avoid from the start than to fix later.
The goal isn't speed but calm, confident skiing: your skis do what you want and you can stop wherever you choose.

Snowboarding
Almost nobody gets it right the first time on a board. That's normal: after a couple of lessons the confidence comes, and your technique improves with every run.
Call an instructor in advance to arrange a lesson time.
